Who we are

This website — bapcaster.com — and all subdomains (stream.bapcaster.com, bapcaster.org, etc.) are owned and operated by Joshua King at BapCaster Ministries.

Our mission is to create a high-quality website and streaming service to help your church grow without the risk of deplatforming for sharing the true gospel. In order to do this, we must acquire information about your church to appropriately present your church and organize your messages on our platforms.

What we collect

  • The BapCaster suite of websites and applications use cookies. Cookies are small files stored on your computer that collect and track website usage. Additionally, they are used to store preferences. You can turn off cookies in your browser settings if you prefer not to have that information stored. This includes the country you view the site from, states, cities, providences, browser name, device model, operating system version, age, and gender.
  • Information is attached to you upon creating an account or posting a comment as yourself. Data from comments will be attached to your user and associated with you.
  • We store data about you and your organization which is used solely for helping market your church on BapCaster Stream. The data inserted on the application form is used to generate your BapCaster profile and BapCaster organization. We attempt to request as little personally identifiable information (PII) as possible.
  • We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If a parent or guardian becomes aware that such data has been provided to us, they should contact us at support@bapcaster.com. If we become aware that this data has been collected, we will remove the data as soon as possible.
  • Any messages, announcements, photos, users, settings, organization information, or other information provided by you to BapCaster.

How we use your information

Your information may be used to achieve the following:

  • Customize content shown to you on our site,
  • Allow access to upload, manage, and interact with messages and organizations (churches, etc.) on our website.
  • Manage account information and preferences
  • Allow publication and public access to your uploaded church messages.
  • Track minimal site usage data for analysis purposes.

This website, or any BapCaster site, may also record a Device ID when you connect to the site and a User ID or other Google Ad data, such as Gender, approximate age, and city location, should they be available.

Who we share your data with

At BapCaster, your personal information will only be shared with the following parties:

  • BapCaster staff members and analysts,
  • Third-party contractors and temporary employees,
  • Law enforcement or government authorities, if required to do so.

We allow third parties, including Google, Google Analytics, and YouTube, to use cookies and access data to manage traffic and other non-personal information. This information is used for measuring site traffic, analyzing performance, and optimizing the website’s performance. We do not sell information or receive compensation for sharing of any data retrieved by this website. All data shared to third-party providers is subject to their respective privacy policies.

The companies with which we share your non-personal information may use this data to provide you with advertisements about things that may be of interest to you.

Any comments you post on the website will be publicly displayed for others to see. Comments you post will display alongside your selected username and the date of posting.

Any messages or settings for your organization will be publicly available for others to see. Please ensure that you’re uploading the correct content to BapCaster before finalizing an upload. Additionally, any images, data about preachers, data about organizations (such as email, social media, and pastors) are publicly available.

What you can do

You may choose to:

  • Not provide any information. By doing this, you may be unable to use certain parts of our website. Additionally, you will be unable to create a public organization or BapCaster account.
  • Delete or disable cookie usage via your browser settings. By doing so, segments of this website may not work as intended, or you will be unable to use certain services.
  • Request us to delete your information, which we will delete rapidly upon request. Should you want to have your data deleted entirely, you may contact support@bapcaster.com. Upon deleting your information, your associated account or comments will be removed from the site, as this data is associated with you. If you request for your organization data to be purged, all messages, configurations, and other data will be purged.

Policy Updates

We reserve the right to update and change our privacy policy. If we change how we collect or share your information, this page will be updated to match our terms and will always be up to date. We strongly suggest you return to this page periodically to be sure you’re viewing the most recent version of this document.
